My Life Thus far...

So I guess it's been awhile since I've posted anything. So, I'm going to catch up a bit! At least try anyways. Well, really, there's not a whole much new with me!

Work is going great. I've been doing really good, and actually got a 2 dollar raise within two weeks of working there, so I guess they like me :) It's pretty good. There's always lots to do so it makes the days go by faster. Today my boss was mentioning an advertisement they want to do in a book that gets handed out annually here in morinville (I believe she said it was mainly for kids) and she wants to do something along the lines of "Got Milk?" but instead say "Got Ink?" with a picture of her husband beside it with an "ink stache" I thought it was pretty cute...I'm hoping I can maybe get my hands on some lights and take the picture for the ad! How awesome would that be? Anyways, they're really great people and they treat us well, so I'm quite enjoying it! I also never have to work on saturdays because it's so slow in the summer they don't need to be open! Now I can go to GP, Medicine Hat, and camping a lot. Sweeeet :)

I've been home alone all week, but I think this is the first time I've been home alone that I haven't gotten the willies at night. I've taken up my guitar again, and my fingers are sore haha :) And I've been taking Kacey for walks and going to the park. My parents are in Ontario right now! My dad has meetings there and my mom has always wanted to see the Niagara falls, so My dad decided to bring her along, and they're actually staying in a hotel right along the falls, so I'm sure they're just having a great time :) It's nice that they are able to get away now. They definitely deserve it!

Evan has grown a lot! He's thirteen pounds now I think, and he's giggling! Unfortunately I haven't been able to hear him giggle. Every time I talk to Marlys on the phone, she tries to make him giggle, but he just doesn't! I get to see him in a few weeks (Hopefully) and I'll get the giggles out of him yet! He was really talkative on wednesday night so Mar put the phone up to Evan's ear so I could "talk" to him and he shut up as soon as the phone was by his ear haha :) I guess he doesn't like anything but being in person! Soon enough little guy, soon enough...

Next weekend my mom and I are going to go to GP to see little Marshall! I mean, he's almost 3 weeks old already, it's probably time we go see him right? I can't wait to see the little guy! It'll be different seeing Brent and Chantelle with their baby, but hey, it's awesome :)

School is going slow, but steady. It's been really difficult. For my first assignment, I had to draw ten different sketches using a single dot, and by where I placed the dot, I had to give it movement. Ten different spots in each little square. I ran out of ideas I think on square four. Yikes. But I just handed in my second module yesterday, and am waiting for the mark for that and access to my third module! 2 down, ten to go, and only 10 weeks left of summer....one a week? Not likely haha :)

Anyways, that's all that's been up over here. It's been good. Slow, but good. I'm hoping I'll be able to get outside lots this summer and just enjoy what I can!
