I just realized that I never posted photos from our best friend's Brady and Renessa's wedding so here are a few! Photos were taken by Renessa's cousin Shandy Wascylciw with Captured by Shandy
This one cracks me up everytime!
We're just besties, NBD. I think this is a very nice picture of us
This picture is really special - Renessa's mom is only 41, and her grandma i think is 56 ish so this is a picture of her, her mom, her grandma and her great grandma's wedding rings. You don't get that opportunity very often!
Speaking of weddings, we have another one this year! My cousin Brad is getting married. He actually asked me to take pictures of them the night they proposed. The plan was to have me come along. Kristena had been complaining that they don't have any pictures together, so Brad just explained that me being there was because they don't have any pictures together so it was just a photo shoot. So we had some fun in downtown GP and then in the middle of our photo shoot. I distracted Kristena and while she was talking to me, Brad got down on one knee behind her, and when she turned around i started shooting like crazy! It was lots of fun and I can't wait for the wedding day :)
Seems like it will be another summer full of weddings, but i don't mind :) Weddings are always a wonderful occasion!

Oh the memories...
I was looking over some of my photos from the past years that bring back wayyyyy too many good memories! I just had to share!
A Couple of years ago while we were still on the acreage, we decided to have a tobogganing party at our place and invited a lot of the young people from the church over! This is Brent as a pretty little indian girl...with a mustache. Nice look :P

Chris and Logan went down the hill sharing a sled with Chris in the front and Logan standing up and holding onto his shoulders, then they hit a bump and both went flying and Logan completely smushed Chris' face into the snow! This is Chris' face imprint:
A Bunch of us girls went to Pirates 3 one night and there were some Shrek cutout masks. Aerylin took one and posed for many different photo opportunities. If you click on the picture, the ash tray says "Don't Smoke" on the side, so we figured Shrek was endorsing no smoking.
Gaelan, Aerylin, Kaden, Logan and I went and explored this really old farmhouse by our acreage and it was sturdy enough for us to actually go inside and check it out! I loved it so much that someday, I wouldn't mind building a house just about exactly like this one!
This is Jen. No explanation needed here :)
A Photoshoot we did with all of my friends before I moved away too college...

Aerylin is a nut! (I found a giant nut by the tracks)
about 2-3 years ago, I needed Logan and Chantelle's help in doing an English project and afterwards we had some fun with a photoshoot. This picture is just...too funny.
This was the last official wing's night at our acreage...sad night, but too much fun! If you look closely (or click on the photo) Brent and I are making almost the exact same face..and it's way too good!!
Annnnddd...my friend Chelsea had her bachelorette party before her wedding which was 70's themed. I chose to go as a man. Mr. Kennedy had a powder blue bell bottom suit that he wore for his wedding which fit me perfectly! Top it off with already shaggy hair, aviators, and a mascara stache and I was set! I started to feel quite uncomfortable after awhile because while we were walking through the mall, basically everyone was staring at me and doing double takes. I'm pretty sure they were trying to figure out if I was really a guy or not :) Means my costume was a success! hahaha
Oh boy...too many good memories. I miss all of my friends back in Webster and I am SO eager to move home in May. Thanks for the good times guys :)

For Logan: Some jokes about the bagpipes.
I was reading through a magazine my parents get called "Our Canada" and there was an article on all things Scottish, including the bagpipes. There were a few things in it that made me think of Logan and laugh quite a bit, one of them is that the Scotts call turnips and potatoes "neeps and tatties." which tickled my funny bone, and I think I might start calling them that from now on. Also, the writer of this article included some good bagpipe jokes after explaining the history of bagpipes. Here are a few of them:
Q: What's the difference between a rattlesnake on the road and a set of bagpipes on the road?
A: Skid marks in front of the rattlesnake.
Q: Why do bagpipers march while playing and practicing?
A: It's harder to hit a moving target! (That's why he wants to play on a foggy morning too right?)
During the second world war, while his platoon was under heavy fire, the sergeant major asked his commanding officer to send six tanks....or one bagpiper.
Bagpipes: The missing link between music and noise.
It's actually kind of a cool article to read. It talks about Haggis (yuck!) and Robbie Burns, the famous Scottish poet who wrote such songs as "Auld Lang Syne" and of course the bagpipes!
If you don't know yet, Logan has a bagpipe ambition that is quite hilarious!

For the Bolgers
Today in photoshop, we were learning how to put pictures in a grid pattern for a project we have due on friday. I got a little bit sick of using his pictures that he takes over the weekend and wanted to use my own. I needed nine picture of the same type of subject, and I happened to have the pictures of Kenna and Brooks on my USB drive. SO I made this grid for you guys! If you want it of course, and if you want any changes, let me know and I can change it for you! I can also send a higher quality one. I had to lessen the quality to put it on here! Hope you enjoy!

After a weekend of wonderful chaos...
comes a complete loneliness and solitude. Quite a jump to make all in half an hour. But hey, the weekend I had, was well worth all the dead quiet around here now. The weekend started off with a surprise visit from my best friends. Logan, Davis, Kaden, Gaelan, Aerylin and Heather all came and surprised me for the November 8th weekend! For those of you who don't know, Logan, Davis, Kaden and a couple others of us "started" (originally founded by Brent and Jared I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong) a wings night every 8th of the month. But with me being moved away, I am unable to really participate in the celebrations. So awhile back we had planned to have a wings night here in Edmonton this month, but then Logan told me that he had to work this weekend, so I planned on a quiet evening at home with my parents. But lo and behold, come about 7:30 friday night, I heard the doorbell ring, and I opened the door to the most welcome sight I've had in a long time. It made me so happy! We played games and just had a wonderful evening and all of us didn't end up going to sleep until 1 in the morning. It was great!! The next few days were equally exhilarating and I hated to see them all leave this afternoon. I tell you though, the time I spend with them now seems to be a whole lot more cherished than before. Not that I took it for granted before, but now I know what I miss out on when I'm not around and I miss it more than anything in the world. I guess we'll just have to do it as often as possible over the next years to come!

Happy Birthday Logan!
Happy 18th Birthday!!
18 today! wow!! You're finally the same age as me...for another two months haha. I'll always be your elder, but someday you'll be able to rub that in my face! When We're both 79, you can make fun of me for being 80 sooner than you will be. So I guess I better enjoy this while it lasts :P Anyways, I hope you had a great day, hope you did something exciting, rather than just count bottles, and I hope you heard some exciting news (congrats by the way :) I wish I could have been there to celebrate the day with you, but I trust you did a fine job anyways. Have a good night, eat lots of cake, and just have a good time! I miss you lots!

Trip back to Grande Prairie
You bet! Best weekend ever and it came and went so fast! I realized that it would be possible to go home for the weekend about 2 days before I wanted to leave. Thanksgiving was cancelled in Red Deer at my Aunt's (which wasn't a good thing) But upon realizing that, I was excited to know that I would be able to go back to Grande Prairie! How awesome! So I packed up my things, phoned a couple people and made my way home! The drive went really well, went slow on the way there and fast on the way back. I just had a very relaxing weekend catching up with everyone. I really needed that trip. Now I feel more at ease about being gone so long, and I feel like I'm able to concentrate on school better! It doesn't seem like it's going to be forever until I move back home for the summer. So that's great! I was also able to go see our old place and animals again. Really hard, but good to know the animals were doing good! Those were the only pictures I got from the weekend because I was too busy having fun! So now it's been 3 days since I got back and I miss it already! 1.5 months down, 6.5 left to go!
My two dogs Max (left) and Maya. They sure remembered me!
This is Smoochie Pants (my brother named her :P) Best cat ever

Just a few of the familiar and wonderful sights!
