Growing like crazy!

Our little Andi girl will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Time has completely flown by and I can't believe how much she has changed!
She is a very happy little girl and only fusses when she actually needs something. Some of her favorite things are her play mat (she loves the owls and coos at smiles at them constantly), her bunnies that hang over her play pen, hanging out with mom and dad and singing.
At her last appointment she was over 10 pounds and I am not sure how long she was, I have it written down from the doctors office.
She loves to play in the morning. 6 - 6:30 am is play time :) so I'll often find myself swaddling her and laying her in her playpen and she will coo and talk to her bunnies for quite awhile, eventually falling asleep again so I can get a bit more sleep!
She's pretty good at entertaining herself for the most part but gets bored of things after about 15 - 20 minutes so I'll usually let her play on her play mat after eating and then she'll want to chat with me when she gets bored and fussy!

Mom and Dad Kennedy and Maryn and Janessa came for a visit for a couple of weeks in July so it was nice to get to visit with them! Andi had a good time! It was a great help to me as I took advantage of the time to catch up on sleep and shower :)

She is our precious girl and we love her to bits. We can't remember what our life was like before she was born and it seems like we have so much more love in our lives with her here. She gets tons of hugs and kisses from her mom and dad, that is for sure :)

I went to Edmonton about 3 weeks ago because my sister had a baby girl the day before Andi was born so we wanted to meet each other's girls! It was so fun and it's amazing at how different the two are! As dark as Hailey is, Andi is fair :) It was so fun and I can't wait for these 2 sweet hearts to grow up together. They will be best friends!

Sweet Andi

Our sweet little Adrienne Janelle has arrived! She was born on June 17th at 5:40 am after I had been in labour for almost 24 hours. She weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was 20.25 inches long! We are so completely in love with her!

She was jaundiced so I had her getting some Sun therapy :)
This is one of my favorite pics so far

 Tummy time!

She has been such a huge blessing and we love her to bits! She is a great eater and sleeper, so I haven't been feeling exhausted yet, although I have fallen asleep while feeding her a few times at 3 in the morning :) She is a happy and content little girl, and rarely fusses or whines! She is starting to really focus and listen intently to people talking to her now and today she was making friends with her stuffed kitty and a blanket! :) It's been such a joy to watch her grow so far and I am already sad at how much she has changed in the past 2 weeks!  We love our little Andi girl!

Little bit of an update

I am not good at this blogging thing!
I'm almost seven months pregnant and I haven't done an update since December, and unfortunately this will be a short update as well until I can get more pictures loaded up.
this is an updated picture of our little one...updated as in this was done in february, so i'm sure it's quite a bit bigger than this even! Baby didn't co-operate when we went to find out what it was, it was sleeping and had it's little legs crossed. When the lady left the room to go get Logan, I got up and jumped around a bit hoping it would move, but it didn't. So as of now, we are having a surprise :)

We are still busy with our church family. Lots of changes has been made in the past little while so it's neat to see our church family growing and maturing. Right now there are 7 of us who are expecting, which makes out roughly 30% of our women in the church :) It'll be fun for our little ones to have so many playmates when they grow up! We're all due between May and September as well, so they'll be pretty close in age!

Logan has been made a deacon of the church or "elder in training" if you will, so that's pretty exciting! We are both involved in our worship there and i am also a leader at Awana and am also involved with the missions team so it keeps our plates full. Logan is also currently playing in two bands, so we'll see if we can even keep this up after the baby is born...i doubt it!

We're just patiently awaiting spring now - this winter we had 7 feet of snow fall just in November and December. I think otherwise we probably had another 2-3 feet in the other months, so we are quite snowed in! It's been warm for the past week so we've seen a lot of that melt, but we still probably have close to 2 feet of snow on our front lawn :) Spring can't come fast enough!

Other than that we anxiously await the arrival of our little one. Baby was measuring a bit bigger on our ultrasounds in December so now my due date is about June 16th, so not much different from the original date. We're expecting at least nine pounds, at least i am haha!

I will try to update more, we've had most of our basement renos done for quite some time now, so i'll have to post some of those! Keep watching for updates, they will be coming soon :)
