Tyler Bryce

I haven't posted any pictures of little Tyler yet! Tyler was born July 20, 2011 and he is a little chunk compared to Evan...Right now he's 14 pounds and he's 3 months old. Evan was 16 pounds when he turned one...so Tyler is going to be the "bigger" little brother I think!

I have only met Tyler once and I can't wait to see him again! He's growing too fast and all I see are pictures! here are a few:3 weeks old - first and only time seeing him so far!

I guess Tyler doesn't like Evan holding him! :)And some more recent ones:He definitely has a "Knapp" look to him. He looks much more like Marlys (in my opinion judging from pictures) You tell me, Do they look like Brothers?

Date Weekend!

Today was a good day at work. We had a man from the Sawridge hotel in Jasper come present to us what's new and going on there so we are able to promote it. He had a prize to be drawn at the end of the presentation between all of us travel staff, and guess who won it-- that's right! I won two nights accomodation at the Sawridge in Jasper! We even get a full breakfast each morning. Guess Logan and I are going to be heading out on a "Date Weekend" here soon!

Dinner?

I tend to make random dinners that don't really go well together. I could blame it on not getting home from work until 6, so we want something fast. I could blame it on not having groceries to make an actually normal meal. But who am I kidding? A lot of times it's just plain laziness. Tonight we had oven fries...and brocoli. I've been trying to make good homeade oven fries since we've been married, and they always seem to turn out soggy, greasy and just not good. But tonight, I had my first successful batch! Granted they were slightly greasy, but they were delicious! And the Broccoli, well, it was just going bad...and I didn't have crackers to make a soup - steamed broccoli with some garlic spices it is!

Out and About

Logan and I went for a walk last night because it finally seems like we're getting some summer around here! It was gorgeous! He'll get used to me taking his pictures yet :)

Wedding Photos!

I still don't have my wedding photos, so these aren't the real deal...I just finally figured out how to save photos off of facebook now with the new album system, so here's a sneak peek of our wedding photos!!

It's a boy!

My sister was pregnant...and now she's not! She had her little boy this morning at 5:26 and they named him Tyler Bryce. He was 7lbs. 9oz. and 19.5 inches! Can't wait to meet the little guy! Hoping to get some more pictures of him soon :)

Break out the Water Wings!

We have been getting INSANE rain lately...I think it's getting to the point where everyone north of Edmonton gets water logged by simply walking out the door. It has pretty much been raining non stop since Logan and I came back from our Honeymoon on June 25. We had 2 sunny days right after we got back, and I think one in between. It's been crazy. Last night we had a thunderstorm that was not only super loud (sounded like a tree cracking in half right by our bedroom window) but caused flash floods in Sexsmith. I'm surprised that our little basement suite hasn't flooded yet so we've definitely been blessed! We'll keep praying that doesn't happen. As I'm typing this, we're still being pounded by another thunderstorm. Crazy! I don't have any pictures off of my camera of the flooding, but this website does! That website also has the forecast for the next week...rain. Everyday. I guess God knows what we need even though we have no idea how it's all going to work out! Praying for some time to dry out...

New Place

Well here it is finally! Pics of the new place :) Bear with me, it's a little bit messy...:S

This is the unfinished entryway. The stairs there are to go up to the door. We live in a basement suite!

Our bedroom! It's pretty cozy! we only reall have room for the bed, the side table, and my desk with my computer. Even though our room is super small, we have a huge walk in closet, which helps immensely!Looking from the bedroom down the hallway, to the right by that paisley curtain is the entry wayOur little bathroom without a bath tub! We only have a super small shower...we'll see how long we can last with that :)Kitchen. The hallway is off to the left. We don't have a lot of cupboard space, so all of our food is actually in our laundry room on a bookshelf. Living room which is attached right to the kitchen. Also very small! We barely fit the two chairs in there along with the couch, so we had to kind of make it work. Not a huge fan of the layout, but it'll do for now!One thing about this place, even if it is small, is that it has a lot of storage! This is our laundry room which is right to the left of the kitchen! Lots of storage in there as well as the entryway, so that makes a big difference!

So this is our cozy little home! It's not much, but it's our home :) So we love it!

Hola Dominican Republic!

We went to the Dominican on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! It was extremely warm though! It felt like it got to around 35 degrees Celsius every day! Needless to say, Logan and I got sun burnt pretty bad that took a few days to recover. We decided it might be best to wait until the hottest part of the day was somewhat over before we ventured outside again.

Married!

Our room. They were really nice! The first time we got there there was a towel swan with flower petals on the bed! They also tied balloons everywhere for us too :)

This is pretty much what the resort looked like the whole way through! So nice. Amazing the world change though once you leave the resort gates.

First day there, had to go to the beach!
The buffet at the Resort had a really great arrangement! Almost every little tray had some decoration like this!

Pretty fancy!I don't know how it happened, but at some point I was eating with 2 forks and didn't realize it for awhile....I think this is the only picture of the two of us...other than para sailing!So one night I got up to go to the washroom and this big cockroach skittered across the floor, I jumped on the bed and repeatedly *screamed for* asked Logan to kill it...so gross!Relaxing in his new favorite shirt :PWe went para sailing! I was so scared. I hate heights, but Logan really wanted to do it, so we did! It was so fun!! It's actually not that bad once you get up there. I was quite relaxed and enjoying being that high in the air (far above the palm trees!)
