New Place

Well here it is finally! Pics of the new place :) Bear with me, it's a little bit messy...:S

This is the unfinished entryway. The stairs there are to go up to the door. We live in a basement suite!

Our bedroom! It's pretty cozy! we only reall have room for the bed, the side table, and my desk with my computer. Even though our room is super small, we have a huge walk in closet, which helps immensely!Looking from the bedroom down the hallway, to the right by that paisley curtain is the entry wayOur little bathroom without a bath tub! We only have a super small shower...we'll see how long we can last with that :)Kitchen. The hallway is off to the left. We don't have a lot of cupboard space, so all of our food is actually in our laundry room on a bookshelf. Living room which is attached right to the kitchen. Also very small! We barely fit the two chairs in there along with the couch, so we had to kind of make it work. Not a huge fan of the layout, but it'll do for now!One thing about this place, even if it is small, is that it has a lot of storage! This is our laundry room which is right to the left of the kitchen! Lots of storage in there as well as the entryway, so that makes a big difference!

So this is our cozy little home! It's not much, but it's our home :) So we love it!

you will always remember your first place fondly. Our teeny (500 sq ft) apartment in New York was one of my fave places to live. I think about that place often and the "good ol' days". Looks great!...and you have more cupboard space than I do!! Jealous!

Dar you are absolutely right, there is something very special about your first place - and you will never forget it! I loved our first place...hard to top it!

And for a basement apartment...that kitchen is not bad at all! Looks good! And looks like you guys have nice floors too!

Our first basement apartment was extremely small, too...complete with ultra-small shower where the floor of it would come off on our feet. Sigh. Ah, the joy of being a young married couple...good times!!!!
