I found this thing in an Uncle John's Bathroom Reader and it made me wonder what the heck it was saying and kinda made me giggle to. I'll put my "rough translation" afterwards....
An "Obscure" Tale
One morning, a valgus hobberdehoy was cornobbled by a very old leptorrhinian calcographer. "You twiddlepoopy liripoop!" faffled the hobberdehoy, "You've given me a wem that smells of bodewash!"
"So sorry," belched the saprostomous calcographer. "I was unaware that my jumentous mundungus was cornobbling you."
"Whatever, you spodogenous whipjack! Now I must go to my xystus and run my balbriggan galligaskin through my chirogymnasts to get this wem out!"
The calcographer felt like a dasypygal pismire. "I have lost my toxophily," he said sadly.
"Wait a second," faffled the hobberdehoy. "Did you say toxiphily? You remind me of my toxophillic atmatertera. You have the same anisognathous mouth as she."
"Does she go by the name Esmerelda?" asked the calcographer/
"Why yes, yes she does. She was brideloped by a calcographer many moons ago."
And then they looked at each other.
"Bob?"
"Jim?"
And then Bob and his great great great grandfather Jim went happily to Bob's xystus to de-wem his balbriggan galligaskin.
My translation (Based on the word definitions given on a previous page)
One morning, a bow legged young man was hit with a fish by a very old long nosed chalk drawer. "You feminine, silly looking creature!" stuttered the young man, "You've given me a stain that smells of cow dung!"
"So sorry," belched the bad breathed chalk-drawer. "I was unaware that my pungent garbage was hitting you with a fish."
"Whatever, you wasteful beggar! Now I must go to my indoor porch and run my cotton, baggy trousers through my finger excercising machine to get this stain out!"
The chalk-drawer felt like an ant with hairy buttocks. "I have lost my love of archery," he said sadly.
"Wait a second," stuttered the young man. "Did you say love of archery? You remind me of my great granfather's grandmother's sister who loves archery. You have the same uneven mouth as she."
"Does she go by the name Esmerelda?" asked the chalk drawer.
"Why yes, yes she does. She was swept off on horseback by a chalk drawer many moons ago."
And then they looked at each other.
"Bob?"
"Jim?"
And then Bob and his great great great grandfather Jim went happily to Bob's indoor porch to de-stain his cotton baggy trousers.
And just so you can see for yourself, I'll retype the words and their meanings!

Pool Time Fun!
It was really hot today so we thought it would be fun to put on our bathing suits, sit in our kiddie pool and run through the sprinkler. Mom caught some photos of Mar and I sitting in the kiddie pool together.
The duck wanted in on the action too :)

Family Fun Time
This week I was able to get off of work because for the next two weeks, another girl at work will be gone on holidays and my boss wanted me to take this week off, So my mom and I went to Medicine Hat last friday night and came back on Wednesday, but Marlys and Evan came back with us! So we've been having quite a fun time with them all. Kyle and Terry were able to get off of work yesterday at 1 so they got here at about 7 ish yesterday and they went golfing today while us girls went to the farmers market (even though it's crazy hot today!!) we didn't go for long because Evan was getting too hot so we came home and have been quilting since! I finished my first quilt yesterday and will post pics at a later date when it's all quilted and everything, and now I'm starting on my second quilt! It's going really good anyways :) I'm enjoying it! I really just wanted to post a video of my mom and I trying hard to make Evan laugh. He is a bit camera shy me thinks :)

Cake please?
I did that cake decorating course awhile back in about March but missed the last class because Evan was born. My instructor told me I could come back to sit in on the last class of the next 1st course that started so that I could finish the first course and move on to the next. Unfortunately I didn't get her phone number or email address to find out when the last class was. So I went to Michael's yesterday to see if they could help me and they actually told me that the last class was tonight. So I quickly whipped up a cake and icing yesterday and showed up at Michael's tonight only to find out that Michael's made a mistake and the last class wasn't actually for two weeks. SO I had a cake and a bunch of icing. I ended up decorating it anyways and practicing my roses tonight! I just wanted to show the finished product!

Good Week(end)
Since Wednesday was a holiday for everyone (Happy Canada Day People!) I was able to get Thursday and Friday off as well and head down to Medicine Hat to visit the family. I worked until five on Tuesday then went home, quickly packed and my parents and I left the house at about 7! It was the first time we took our motorhome on a trip and it turned out to be really awesome! I played my guitar, and read, and slept on a bed while driving! Good stuff :) Anyways, we drove until about midnight and decided to pull over at a rest stop for the night. It was raining and my dad was having a hard time seeing. We woke up at 8 the next morning and ended up getting to Marlys and Terry's place at 9:47 am! It was nice to have all of wednesday through sunday to be with all of them. We had so much fun! Wednesday night we went to Kin Coulee and watched the fireworks from Kyle's back yard (well, we walked a little ways, there was a big tree in the way). The rest of the weekend we just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. Saturday we loaded up the motorhome again and all of us drove down to Writing on Stone provincial park which is only about 40 km north of the Montana Border. Writing on Stone has a bunch of Hoodoos and has actual stone writings of battles that the Blackfoot natives carved. It was really hard to see because it's so faded, but it was neat nonetheless :) Then we dropped mom off in Claresholm on Sunday for a funeral that was today (my uncle's dad died) and my dad and I drove back sunday night because we both had to work today. It was a really good weekend. And of course, no weekend report is complete without a new picture of Evan! He's three months old now and SO adorable! I thought he was cute when he was a newborn but now he's SUPER Adorable haha :) You judge for yourself!
